Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm
This has been a surprise hit for me this month! I usually tend to favor cleansing balms, but a short, out-of-town trip meant that a spill-proof first cleanser was a must for me. That’s when I started to use this cleansing balm and was pleasantly surprised. Not only does this cleansing balm melt deliciously into the skin, breaking down sunscreen and makeup like a champ, it also washes away without any filmy residue! I was majorly impressed because it took off waterproof mascara with ease. This balm was recently reformulated by Beauty of Joseon and is now free of fragrance!

Rovectin Forever Young Biome Ampoule
This ampoule from Rovectin features lots of fermented pre- and probiotic ingredients that promote a healthy skin biome and supports your skin barrier. I have been curious about trying this product since it was released earlier in the year. It came at just the right time this month because my skin barrier definitely needed all the strengthening as my skin transitions from combination to straight up dry in the nearly winter temperatures. This has a hydrating and slightly moisturizing texture that isn’t as hefty as I’d prefer for cold weather but I was so surprised at how strong this made my skin feel just after about one week of regular use. This definitely has become a staple in my routine as we enter into early winter.

Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotics SPF 50+ PA++++

I’ve been loving this sunscreen because it’s moisturizing but still light on my skin. As I’ve mentioned, my skin is turning dry, and I so appreciate any extra moisture I can get. However, I still need to keep things lighter because too heavy means my pores will clog! This sunscreen has a lovely light essence-like texture but also a nourishing feel on my skin. This is a chemical sunscreen using all new generation filters that are super gentle. All month long I’ve been reaching for this sunscreen, and my skin has just been super happy!

La Roche-Posay Eczema Cream
Full transparency, I have done some sponsored content with this brand and product on my Instagram page recently. However, this blog post is not sponsored, I just really like this product!
The theme this month is my super dry skin, and this cream has been invaluable for helping my skin gently transition to its new state. I do occasionally get eczema flare ups and they occur more often in the colder months. This cream helps soothe the eczema itch while moisturizing and gently supporting a healthy skin barrier function. It can be used as an all-over face moisturizer or just as a spot treatment where needed. Since my skin gets really dry in my U-zone, I use this cream just around my chin, sides of my nose and upper lip area (eczema area for me), and it soothes my skin and adds much needed extra moisture. This has helped keep my eczema away (so far) and has healed some dry, cracked skin around my nose. This definitely will be a winter time staple for me in the next coming months!
