The Best Korean Hydrating Toners for Your Skin Type
Anyone remember the Clinique three-step skincare routine? Cleanse, tone, moisturize? Toning in Western skincare, growing up in the late 90s and early 00’s, meant an astringent, cleansing and oil-removing formula that probably contained alcohol.
This scarred me for life!
No, not really, but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth about toners and I definitely did not feel like they were a product for me!
Fast-forward a few years later, I’m starting my K-beauty journey and learning that toners can be hydrating (!), gentle (!), and an essential part of your skincare routine!
Mind blown. Boom, for real.
In my journey through Korean skincare, my beliefs about toners were challenged, shattered and then rebuilt. Now I am a toner junkie and my dehydrated skin can’t get enough. Seriously, this morning I layered on 3 different toners!
The obsession is real.
And it’s not just an obsession, but a really fundamental part of my routine that not only feeds a ton of water into my skin but also preps my skin, treats my skin and softens my skin! I know now that toner is fundamental for all skin types and with so many to choose from it can be difficult to know which is best for each skin type!
But never fear, I’m here to guide you through some of the best Korean, hydrating toners and give you the break down on which skin type they’re best for!

Hi! I’m not sure what’s up with it, you should just be able to shop through the link and the 10% discount should be automatically applied at checkout… I’d get in contact with holy snails, they might be having an issue but should be able to honor the 10% https://www.holysnails.com/pages/contact-us
